Traditionally used to naturally support the body during times of stress, nervous tension and insomnia, as well as support the digestive and immune systems.
My Lemon Balm tincture is made in small batches with fresh organically grown Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) leaves that my husband and I grow and harvest in southwest Oregon.
Lemon Balm has a very fond place in my heart. My mother always had it in our garden when I was growing up, often preparing a tisane for me when I was stressed with stomach upset or unable to go to sleep. I still drink quite a bit of it prepared as an infusion but I also really like to have Lemon Balm tincture on hand for ease of use, especially when away from home. I consider Lemon Balm an important and very often underestimated antiviral herb that I always want to have on hand in my apothecary.
